The role
In our ninth year, Hanbury continues to focus on delivering client excellence and growing our business. We are looking to bring on board a driven Director to help service and grow our expanding transactions communications practice here at Hanbury.
This Director will have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with proven exposure to the deal environment. With seven years plus experience you will work directly into the lead Partner in this growth part of the agency. You’ll be working across an exciting blend of multi-disciplinary transaction campaigns covering media relations and issues management through to broader investor engagement.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Leading existing financial communications accounts, helping to set and drive a clear direction to deliver results for clients.
Spearheading well-structured and creative new business proposals and pitches.
Actively networking and leveraging relationships within the industry and potential new business leads. Helping to raise the profile of Hanbury in deal communications.
Developing communications plans and providing strategic advice to clients to help build and protect their reputations.
Successfully managing account teams including coaching and training, delegation, motivation, feedback and development.
Being a consistent champion of excellence, leading by example within your team and across the whole firm.
Taking time to invest in the culture of the business and celebrate team successes.
About you
You will be:
Excited to be part of a dynamic, hard-working team, advising clients from a range of industries.
Comfortable and experienced in the investor landscape or financial communications.
Proven in financial communications, investor relations, investment banking, research analysis, private capital, market transactions or private equity.
Unafraid to break new ground and find new ways to solve old problems.
Dedicated to producing high quality work and going the extra mile.
Embody an entrepreneurial approach, with proven ability to think on your feet.
Happy working with people with a diverse range of backgrounds and opinions.
Personable, respectful and a team player.
