The role
We have a brilliant, high performing Operations Team that helps our consultants deliver client excellence. To support our new London office, based by London Bridge, we are recruiting someone to be ‘Front of House’ working alongside the Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our office remains a welcoming and efficient environment for both team members and visitors, partnering with and supporting all our internal teams and stakeholders at Hanbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to get into an office environment (or already experienced in a similar role), is a great communicator and likes to build relationships. This role will be extremely busy with no two days the same! The environment here is dynamic and highly demanding. You will work incredibly closely with the wider team and have a 'muck in' attitude. For this role, you will be expected to be in the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Answering phone calls
- Booking meeting rooms and setting them up for visitors
- Organising and dealing with all postal and courier duties
- Ensuring the office (and lovely kitchen area) is kept fully stocked of key supplies
- Assisting with marketing activities for the company
- Helping to manage IT related queries
- Updating and maintaining spreadsheets relating to different aspects of office management
- Helping the Operations Team with any ad hoc tasks such as researching new suppliers, obtaining quotes etc
