People Manager - Hanbury Strategy [REF: #0024]

The People Manager will support Hanbury alongside two new sister brands: Forefront Advisers, delivering industry-leading analysis for a range of corporates and institutions; and Stack Data Strategy, analytics, polling and research to help model public opinion. With offices in London, Brussels and Berlin, the three brands each have ambitious growth plans for the remainder of 2021 and beyond. This new role will play a vital role within our mission critical operations team bringing solid experience of running HR systems and processes for a busy, growing brand, taking the People Team to three. You will be instrumental in keeping the function effective, efficient and compliant, optimised to support our team of over 100+ brilliant people. You will be;

  • Equipped with four or more years experience in an HR role 
  • CIPD qualified with proven experience of managing HR systems and process innovation  
  • Organised with have excellent attention to detail
  • A real can-do team player, reporting into the Head of People, working closely with the HR Assistant, office management and finance teams
  • Experience of the Brussels employment landscape is a bonus as is previous exposure to data/research teams

You will manage; 

  • Offer emails to candidates and subsequent onboarding processes including contracts, the new starter pack and reference checking 
  • The process of new joiners going through their probation period
  • Successful onboarding of new starters to our HR system, CharlieHR
  • Efficient offboarding of leavers
  • The processing of pay rises and promotion
  • Informing payroll of any changes
  • Regular reviews and updates of policies and leading associated internal communications
  • Relationships with Brussels-based advisors
  • Oversight of the technical side of Brussels employment processes including benefits, off-boarding
